Hi, I'm Sanjay.
Trying to figure out the world around me, and myself in the process. A work in progress: learning, unlearning, relearning.
I'm interested in a lot of areas, ranging from psychology, product management and start-ups to philosophy, history, and many more.
Some things I love:
- Movies and sitcoms. I'll watch almost anything, and I'll happily talk pop culture for hours. I track this as well on Letterboxd
- Books. Here's my library.
- Food. I've never been a picky eater. I love almost everything. I keep an obsessive Google Maps list of places I still want to eat at.
- Music. Imagine by John Lennon is a go to for me :)
- Rain, and that sweet spot between rain and sun. Sunsets, long walks, and trips to the hills.
- Lifting and a good workout. I track in hevy
- Friday nights with friends, beer, and random conversations about everything happening around us.
- Talks by people I learn from, and writing down my own thoughts.
- Aesthetic stuff. I don't know how to put it into words.
- Good conversations with good people. Above everything else.
I believe in remaining curious. Searching, thinking, across disciplines, constantly changing our minds. Above all, being open to new experiences.
In school, I had a rough book where every idea, sketch and joke ended up. My wiki is the grown-up, public version of it. It's messy on purpose, full of things I'm curious about, what makes me happy, and places I want to eat at. This blog is where some of those thoughts get cleaned up a little.
